*7/23/2010 – due to a break up, I have crossed off a few items that I can not complete. It’s ok though. A charity will benefit from it.
* 1/25/2010- ok, so b/c of this list, my brain keeps finding more and more things I want to accomplish in the near future. Though this is above and beyond the 101, I am going to add them here, just so I can mark them off!
102. grow my own herbs
103. have a tomato plant or two this summer or next
104. get a crock pot and actually cook in it (done 2/2011)
105. post a blog every day for 30 days. (done 4/30/2010)
added 8/6/2010
106. Eat in a restaurant alone/Go to the movies alone.
107. Take a road trip or vacation by myself.
108. Jump out of a plane… (*gasp. I know. this one is complete BS. It’s my “hell no. there is no way in hell” item. But the older I get the more I just wanna see if I can do it.)
A lot of these things will cost moolah. Moolah that I don’t necessarily have… so I will have to get creative. If you know me, you know I am cheap! Lack of money is the one thing I can see standing in my way of completing this list. (big trips especially). But that’s OK. At least I have put it out there. So many of these things equal a change in my day-to-day living. I am working on making new habits, and getting rid of old (bad) ones. Reading a new book each month, posting a blog each week, watching a foreign movie each month, using my sewing machine more… these are things that will become habit. I can forgo vegging in front of the TV to actually do something I enjoy. I have really felt a change in myself since starting this list. Everyday I think “what can I do today that will help me cross something off my list?” Or, “ohhh I need to add that to my list.” I can’t wait to see how far I get. I also can’t wait to see where I am in 2.74 years! -m
Good luck sweet Melissa. I’m here if you need help. I love you!
thanks! i love you too! I am so excited about the changes I am making and the life it will lead to.
I see at least five things that I can help with, so you better hit me up when you are ready. #90-we should take a self defense class! I’ve always wanted to do that. #98-what about your sips and strokes painting? I’m hanging mine in the new office! #85 could be part of #75… #96-you already do right here! blogging and photography. don’t discount those “little” things you love.
Let me know how I can help with any of these! I can’t wait to see where it takes you.
thanks amanda! #98, my sips and strokes is already hanging in my office at work! Can’t wait to see where it takes me too!
