Softball starts and never ends

I am spending another weekend at the ball park this weekend. Just like last weekend, for a tournament. So I have tons and tons of softball pictures.

I love watching the girls play and laugh and get dirty. I hate the heat, and sun burns and children who pass out.

This kid passes out. Because she doesn’t listen to me. But I get to force feed her and pour water down her throat. And refuse to give her phone back till she is hydrated and eats. Who knew the phone would have to be leverage to eat lunch!

I love these pics from last weekend. The dirt and funny faces makes me laugh! It amazes me how concerned they are with making sure they have their makeup on and their hair fixed. Just to go out and have it run down their face and be all sweaty!

I have gone a little spending crazy in the past week or so. Nothing incredibly out of hand, but more than I would normally spend on myself. I am waiting for a beach bag to come in, and a camera strap. I got this in on Monday…

After reading the 1st 27 pages of the Dummies book and saying “ohhhhhh” 20 times, I really feel like I might be getting somewhere!

I had the opportunity to use the new 55-200 lens tonight at tori’s softball game and was impressed with it. (And me, to be honest!) The VR is a little weird on it, and I find that I do just as well without it. So for now, I am leaving it off.

I had quite a few favorite pics from the game tonight… but they were of other peoples kids. Here’s one I like of my kiddo…

It’s that time of year again…

Softball season is upon us and Tori is in it full force. Opening day was Saturday, so I went down to cheer the girls on in a fun game against the coaches. Tori is great at any position she plays… this year she is at the catcher position. She’s pretty good at stopping the ball, and she’s got a great arm to throw folks out at 2nd. Short stop is still my favorite place to see her play… but I am not the coach!
